I always found it interesting/odd how Fiona gave Lip SO MUCH SHIT when he skipped like a week of school his senior year and yet Ian has just disappeared for an indeterminate number of weeks and she doesn't care at all? Are we supposed to assume he dropped out before leaving and Fiona's just cool with it? I get he's not a genius like Lip but seems like quite a difference! 🤣

The end of this episode was so crazy. The rest of this season is soo good! Fiona really messed up so bad and the look on Lip's face in the end...woah.

I feel like Veronica and Kevin should have atleast said something. Their about to have 4 kids, the cocaine should have been on their radar a little bit, especially Veronica since she was the only sober one. She may be fucked up a little bit but she's not dumb. As for Fiona going to jail, unfortunately if she does end up staying in jail Lip would probably be the one taking care of the kids which will probably lead to him dropping out. Its so crazy how one mistake could change everything and the mistake wasn't just leaving the cocaine out. The mistake was sleeping with Robbie in the first place which led him to think it was ok to drop by like they were friends and leave the cocaine. And i get that she deserves to have fun and i guess its her turn to fuck up but as a legal guardian that she chose to become, it's unacceptable. The ending always makes me upset bc people always tend to forget about the babies, from my experience in seeing people whos whole responsibility is to take care of the child, its always party first and worry about the baby later. And i get that its all a domino effect. Because of their upbringing but Fiona, Veronica (not so much Kevin), is far from stupid.

So... that happened. Definitely a low point for Fiona. Fucking her boss/boyfriend's brother, the fallout from that, leaving cocaine out for the kids to get into. She took on the responsibility of legal guardianship last season and the judge warned her to think twice about it. Now she's screwed. On one hand I feel sorry for Fiona because she grew up raising her siblings. She never had a chance to be a kid and basically played mom through her teenage years while her friends were out having fun. Meanwhile, she had Frank and Monica as her role models... always high or drunk, usually both. Leaving coke out with kids around probably seems like no big deal when you've grown up in that kind of environment. It's basically the norm for the Gallaghers. But it is what it is. Really excited for you to see the rest of this season. More of the Ian story too! It's very good. And the acting! I honestly don't understand how Emmy Rossum and Jeremy Allen White didn't win Emmy's for their work this season. They're so good. Looking forward to the next episode! It's terrific.

I know you don't need another new show to react to but have you seen the trailer for We Are Who We Are? (If not, it'd be fun if you wanted to react to it.) It's a coming of age teen drama on HBO, directed by Luca Guadagnino, kind of a mix between Euphoria and Call Me By Your Name with a really good cast. Seems like something you might like, I think it premieres next month if you're interested in watching and/or reacting to it.
