The thing with Tyler is that they're acting as if he has a choice in all this. There's nothing he can do about it. It's not his fault

omg i have been waaaaaaiting for the next episode!!!

Yes Elena is 18, yes she can make her own decisions. Damon didn't take advantage of this opportunity. Elena would've resisted Damon if she didn't feel something, but you can tell she does.

I have mixed feeling about what they did to Jeremy but i guess it was needed so Klaus doesn’t use him against Elena. I feel bad for Tyler, he doesn’t really have any control it’s just like Stefan when he was compelled. Also I was so happy that Damon told Elena about Stefan, I mean could’ve lied to her to make him look bad and “take advantage” of her but he didn’t and he actually admitted that he feels guilty and knows that it’s wrong, he kept his emotions hidden for 2 seasons but I guess he got caught up in the moment because he wasn’t planning on kissing her it just happened and I’m sure he’s happy he didn’t get rejected this time. They have so much chemistry (probably because they were together in real life) and Elena kept looking at his lips lol it’s not a lie that she feels something for him and I don’t blame her I mean he’s been helping her and stuff for months without Stefan. I agree that she wasn’t really cheating. And yes, Stefan’s plan is great but I was hoping that he would say something nice to Elena or Damon since he has his emotions back on but I guess he doesn’t want to until they get rid of Klaus, I love how both Stefan and Damon say they don’t want to be saved but they still do it for each other lol I love their bond. Klaus is just pure evil I was looking forward to see Rebekah confronting him but that’s not gonna happened now. Bonnie has been helping, she’s a sweetheart, I missed Caroline this episode I hope she and Tyler can fix thing. can’t say the same about Matt lol and Ric has to be careful and get that ring checked. Also, yes you were right, the actress who plays Dr.Fell was married to Paul Wesley (Stefan). Great reaction, looking forward for next episode.

Interesting comments at the end regarding Stefan and Damon's roles being switched. At the beginning of the show, Damon had just turned his humanity back on (he told Jeremy it was off for a very very long time). He was (and still is) strategically letting his emotions back in. Stefan's humanity was only off for a few weeks, so we are getting Damon's returning to humanity on a smaller scale. The more damage done while off, the harder it is to let it in. Before, Damon saw the bigger picture and was prepared to do the bad stuff, while Stefan micromanaged to prevent too much emotional fallout. Now Stefan is seeing the bigger picture and not caring, while Damon is micromanaging. Flipping the switch can't be all that great, otherwise all vampires would have it off all of the time. The fact that they don't suggests that vampires only flip their switch as a last resort (unless they're compelled to like Stefan). Switching it off doesn't mean they're bad, it means they're desperate. I'm sure we've all had moments when we wish we could turn it off (I know I did when my dad died). Klaus, on the other hand, doesn't have the excuse of the humanity switch as he's been a vampire too long to still have it. Klaus has been a vampire and alone for so long, his humanity has naturally dwindled as he's forgotten what it was like to be human. The only humanity left in him (to a degree) is his love for his family. I know you think Damon was being opportunistic, but Elena has been flirting with him a lot. It's not like Stefan and Elena only just broke up. Stelena were only together for 6 months in total and they've been broken up for over 5 months. I know it seems like longer as they were together on and off for 2 seasons, but in total it was only 6 months. So Damon has waited a reasonable amount of time until he felt confident enough to know Elena wouldn't reject him. If he thought Elena was going to reject him like the first time he tried to kiss her (when Damon snapped Jeremy's neck), he wouldn't have done it as it would have jeopardized the trust she has for him, and I don't think he would have risked it. Elena didn't reject him, she engaged in the kiss once Damon made the move. It was a fairly innocent, tender, comforting kiss. I also have mixed feelings about the Jeremy compulsion thing. I see why Elena did it, and Jeremy knew it was coming when he saw Damon approach. He didn't even try stopping them. So I think he knew that whatever they were going to do, they were doing it with the best intentions. Now a compulsion which would have been useful would have been if Damon compelled Jeremy to not take his vervain bracelet off, unless instructed to do so by certain people. That would be compulsion used in a positive way. I feel sorry for Tyler. He was a guinea pig for Klaus and has no pack to discuss this issue of siring, unlike the other hybrids. I don't think he fully expected Klaus to expect him to try and kill one of his own friends. Maybe this was what Tyler needed to realise that Klaus is bad and he needs to fight Klaus's orders. It's not like he has much choice in the matter, and the way everyone is treating him is a little unfair. But I can see why as he is a liability as they don't know what Klaus has asked him to do and even if Tyler wanted to tell them, the sirebond would prevent Tyler from telling them Klaus's plans if he wanted to keep them a secret. In this show, if you want a good outcome, it needs something bad to happen to achieve that. Damon did tell Ric to let Bonnie have a look at his ring as he was concerned with the length of time it took for Ric to come back to life last time. I think the entire reason they had for Damon snapping Ric's neck was for Damon to say that to Ric. We've met Dr Fell (Paul Wesley's ex wife). There is absolutely no excuse for being abusive towards a child, not physically nor emotionally. The consequences can be horrific and scar that person for life. If a father thinks a child is a coward, being abusive is not going to resolve the situation, it will just make matters worse. A person's personality is created before they grow up. An abusive parent can have a significant effect on how a child grows up and behaves as an adult. Becoming a vampire would heighten that. Also, Klaus's mother discarded him so that her husband who was an abusive father, wouldn't leave her. What does that say about Klaus's mother? No mother should choose a man over their child. I have no respect for women like that. Especially if it is because they were the one's who were in the wrong in the first place. No wonder Klaus has serious rejection issues. He's not a coward, he's just scared of rejection. That is why the hybrids are appealing to him because they won't reject him. I blame Klaus's parents for a lot of his issues. But, Klaus is still not a good vampire, especially as he has the werewolf gene, which makes him more aggressive. I want to know what happened to Bonnie's locator spell. I can't remember her losing her ability to do it. Maybe she needs to find a new one. Great reaction. Looking forward to the next one. Take care. Stay safe, stay healthy. x

Yeah the fact that Klaus needs his hybrids who are blindly loyal to him and won’t leave him makes him a coward because he has to have people around him who have very little choice in whether they want to be there in the first place. They were all forced to become hybrids and then automatically feel the need to do as he says. In other words they are not totally free. He thinks he has comrades or friends but he just has slaves, people who won’t question him. That’s what cowards need🤷🏽‍♂️. Also he couldn’t face his sister. If he wasn’t a coward he would’ve woken her up and let her decide for herself whether she wanted to still be around him, but he instead decided to once again take that choice from her so that she would be at his side forever. That’s a coward.

I’m not gonna lie, lowkey, deep deep deep deep inside of you it seemed like you were just a little bit interested in seeing the kiss. You tried to look away and you didn’t.

otherboy

Nah. I would never turn completely away. It’s my job to react so I need to see what I’m reacting to even if I don’t like what I’m seeing😂

Lol I love the look Klaus gives Damon when Damon steps in front of Elena. His face was like "oh that's cute you think you could actually do something to stop me"

Darius.

I know you're already a Month ahead, but, I just have to say, I couldn't stand what they did to Jeremy. I'm someone who really believes in Free Will, so watching that Sequence infuriates me to no end. Elena keeps talking about how, "this isn't right for Jeremy", and "he shouldn't have to go through this". Like really, but what about Elena herself, she shouldn't have to go through this either, yet they don't compel Her. It's funny, as someone who studied [well, you never really stop] Screenwriting & Film Theory, logically, I know the Writers did that because the Actors' Schedule was conflicting. Still, they could've wrote a better way than that. The whole Kiss Scene makes me feel uncomfortable; look, I get it, people like it, but I can still complain about it being poorly written. I just don't like it, lol & can't stand that the Writers are trying so hard to get me to accept it.

Your reactions are the best and it makes me laugh
