omg so excited for your reaction to episode 11!

golam rabbi

Klaus killed his mother because she suppressed his werewolf side with the curse that made him weak, because she was selfish and wanted to hide her infidelity! All klaus wanted all his life was to show his father that he is not weak , but could not because of his mother’s action! Also Rebecca said Henrick was the one that went to see the werewolf turn with klaus, klaus never wanted his brother dead! Really excited to see ur reaction when u learn more about the originals backstories!

Stefan feeding on those girls on the 6th episode of this season, it wasn't a direct order from Klaus.

OhKayy

It may not have been a direct order but it's very clear due to the 2 seasons we had of normal Stefan that if Klaus hadn't taken his humanity from him, he wouldn't be doing that.

I remember being so mad at Stefan because I really thought Damon had a really good plan and Stefan wasn’t compelled to protect Klaus but then he was doing it to save his brother and Stefan and Damon would do anything to save each other even though they pretend to hate each other sometimes which is why I don’t really agree with Elena and Damon giving up on Stefan. Also I was surprised that Katherine helped to save Damon it’s so unlike her because she proved many times that she didn’t care about him and that it was always Stefan.

I love this episode. So many twists and turns. Stefan warned that it would be someone's humanity getting in the way which would ruin the plan. Nobody would have expected that it would be Katherine's humanity and her love for both brothers that would get in the way. I felt so sorry for Rebekah, but I understood why Elena did what she did. Damon has no qualms about killing Tyler because he partially blames Tyler for Stefan being caught up with Klaus. Had Tyler not have bitten Damon, Stefan wouldn't have had to bargain his freedom. At the end, Stefan has his humanity back on. Katherine told him to turn it on so he could get mad enough to want revenge. The fact that he took Klaus's coffins suggests he wants revenge, which means he's angry and thus has his emotions back on. Damon aimed for the heart but Klaus moved, which is why Damon initially missed. He might have had a second chance, but Stefan and Damon can't help but save each other. There aren't many ways to kill a hybrid, and they are having to work that out. I don't think Bonnie is strong enough to take them all down while Damon and Caroline go around ripping their hearts out. What annoys me about Mikael is that he blames Klaus for Esther having an affair. Klaus was the innocent offspring, but Mikael took it out on him. Mikael wanted his children to be tough and strong, whereas Klaus was more bohemian, with monthly bouts of rage. Klaus has already shown he likes to paint as he did all of the fake drawings for the curse of the sun and the moon which he and Elijah placed all over the world. Mikael abused Klaus as a child. This affected him as an adult, which gets magnified as a vampire. Anyone who is abused as a child and turned into a vampire is going to struggle. Normal humans who were abused struggle as adults. But they can bottle it up, that is a lot harder to do as a vampire. If you found the gentlest, kindest person on earth and turned them into a vampire, they would have struggles as vampires because the insecurities and damage that was done to them messes them up. All of the 'bad vampires' we know were mistreated by their parents. Damon, Katherine and Klaus. I think the show had an undertone of trying to point out that child abuse is wrong and how much damage it can do to people as they grow up. I'm not giving excuses, but it is a trend that has already been established on the show. With Stefan not being around, Elena has had to learn how to fight. With this, she's grown and now knows when she is capable of being part of the fight and when to keep out of it. Plus I think Damon gave her too good an option. He was the one who got Katherine on board, and Elena trusts him implicitly. She was always going to listen to him. I really enjoyed your empathy for Rebekah. One thing I have noticed is that the vampires on this show don't tend to mentally mature much past their human age. Possibly because of the peer groups their human age dictates they associate themselves with. Rebekah was the baby of the family and Klaus treat her as such. This meant that although she is a thousand years old, she's still mentally 16/17/18 (or however old she was when she turned). That 1000 years isn't a normal life, it is 1000 years of vampire life. She's never had to comprehend pain or aging, or all of the other things which go hand in hand with getting older. All she wants is to be normal. She's easily influenced, especially when the magic which makes her a vampire takes over. If all supernatural elements were taken away from the personalities of the characters, turning them into normal human beings without the violence or anger the vampirism/werewolf issues, then the 2 characters I'd like the most and would enjoy the company of the most are Klaus and Rebekah. Great reaction, can't wait for the next one. Take care. Stay safe, stay healthy. x

I’ve never met anyone who likes Mikael as much as you (well likes isn't the best word bc he’s crazy, but still). It’s an interesting take. I just have a few things to highlight. One, it wasn’t exactly Klaus’ fault for Henrik’s death; I get you hate him, but you can’t blame him entirely lmao. Two, as well as abusing Klaus as a human, Mikael has been hunting them down for the sole reason of killing “the bastard” offspring. His hatred for Klaus stemmed from him viewing him as a weak coward (bc of esther), but really only grew more after finding out he’s a bastard. Also, without spoiling, don’t think too highly of Mikael bc he feeds on vamps. He has killed his fair share of humans, as the rest of the characters on the show.

Also, this has no relevance to the plot rn, but how are your feelings about Damon now? Are you starting to like his character, do you still hate him? Just asking to see the progression of your views on the badder characters.

otherboy

Rebekah said they both snuck out to see the wolves which was forbidden. Unless she says it differently later on and I haven’t seen that yet. It may have been an accident but if Klaus went with his little brother then yeah it is his fault

otherboy

It’s going to take a long time before I like any of the bad characters. Damon would’ve killed Tyler in this episode if it wasn’t for Bonnie so he still has a ways to go for me. You all can tell when I like a character so you’ll be able to tell when and if I like him in the future

suveemi

You argue that I wasnt Stefans chocie to turn off his humanity because Klaus made him to that and also the time before it was of that he did it because of Klaus, but this is something you can argue with any vampire who turns it off for good reasons or do certain things because they are "supervised" by other people. (Sorry when I make mistakes I am from Germany)
