They did show Jessica when she first came out of the ground as a vampire. Bill tried to give her a bottle of True Blood and she spit it out and said it was disgusting and then started crying and cursing and acting so bratty Bill couldn’t even deal with her so he left her with Eric and Pam for a while. Jessica came from an abusive home home, and her parents were super strict Christians and she was homeschooled and not even allowed to watch TV. She’s a much softer, less angry person than Tara, or she was as a human, and she still said there were a lot of people she wanted to kill when she was first turned. Tara has been full of rage her whole life, and she despises vampires. Feelings are amplified for vampires, so she is completely overwhelmed by her feelings, and she was never one for holding back as a human. She hates what has been done to her, hates Sookie and Lafayette for doing it, and wants to destroy everything and everyone in her path. This is going to be really hard for Tara and her friends and family. But fun to watch.
