Klaus is by far the most complex character in this show! Can’t wait till u learn more about him

Mandzipop

When Damon feels that people actually care about him, he's usually a lot softer. He was upset about Andi dying and angry with Stefan. But as you say, once he understood why, then he decided to save Stefan. Maybe Damon had the right idea with giving Elena vampire blood. Technically she wouldn't be alive now, maybe Klaus would have been able to make his hybrids. Klaus was truly devastated that it didn't work. He didn't know the wolves, but they are rare and losing a pack is not good for his hybrid plan. And yes, loneliness does play a part in his personality. But that in theory applies to all of the Originals. The vampire species would only contain Klaus, Elijah and their siblings if they didn't feel alone. They made more for companionship. Being different isn't all it is cracked up to be. You also have to understand that the violent streak which is within werewolves, is also in Klaus. Simply heightened by being a vampire. So some of his issues are biological. Plus, after centuries alone, you're bound to get a little bit cranky and murderous. Some people are struggling with a few weeks on lockdown, let alone centuries of staying hidden. Caroline's dad, yup, he's one of the Founding families and is pretty set in his ways (although I do like the shirt he was wearing). It didn't take much to change Carol's opinion. If Tyler had been a vampire, she'd have struggled. Her maternal instinct came above her hate for vampires, just as it did with Liz. I can't wait for the next episode. Great reaction. Take care, stay safe, stay healthy. x

Klaus Mikaelson was 100% the best thing to come out of TVD😬

Brianna Dawson

I also love Klaus. Him, Caroline and Katherine are my favourite characters. They are all so complex and amazing in their own ways, as well as add awesome dynamics to the show.
