Elena already said she doesn’t want Tyler hurt so...

Futuristic Girl

Also, I think Damon can be the better man. He just chooses not to. Some may call it complacent. Elena asking him to do that is weird to me, especially when it comes to John. Everyone hates him.

Haha just by Damon choosing not to be the better man means that he’s not. Stefan constantly chooses to be the better which makes him the better man. Pretty simple😂

I just want to point out that Elena and Tyler aren't necessarily "friends". They're classmates and he's friends with Caroline and dated Vicky, Jeremy's ex. He sided with the werewolves, and the werewolves took Caroline, her best friend. I don't think it's would be crazy to take him out if he gets in the way.

I'm not going to say anything about Andy because I can't without going in to spoilers, other than at this point I agree with you. The only part I'd slightly disagree with is she'd have slept with him if he hadn't told her and in a way it would have taken her choice away. Lying about being a murderer is not really much better than compelling someone not to be scared of them. Poor Caroline, she doesn't deserve to get tortured so much. I love her and Stefan's friendship, it is so sweet. What baffles me is when Stefan was talking to Tyler, why didn't he just tell him that Mason had gotten himself mixed up in something, which is what led to Damon killing him. Tyler would have known that it was to do with the moonstone. Honesty might have stopped Caroline from being abducted. This episode should be called 'Honesty Issues' not Daddy Issues. Great reaction, looking forward to the next one. Stay safe, stay healthy.

I don’t think it would’ve mattered if Stefan told Tyler what Mason was really doing. Mason was his uncle and Tyler bonded with him. If Mason was a drug dealer or a bank robber Tyler would’ve still looked up to him and things would’ve still gone down the way they did because of Brady and Jules. Tyler wouldn’t have been able to stop them

I think it's really interesting to see how the brothers choose to handle things differently and how that can impact how you react to other characters, if Damon was in charge of handling Tyler he would've threatened him which would've led to Tyler calling for help and the audience wouldn't be upset because it's understandable but since Stefan is put in charge and takes the high road as usual we're allowed to be pissed at Tyler a little because we know he was given the best person to make a deal with. Every time you post a new episode all we ever talk about is Damon but lets give it up for Stefan, this really showcased how good natured he is and not just for Elena but for Caroline and Tyler

I’m not pissed at Tyler. He had no idea what would happen to Caroline and he feels caught in between his friend and his pack. He’s a complex character

I'm a little late here, but I 100% agree on everything 😂. Mainly Tyler, everytime someone reacts to this episode they demonize him, and yes he definitely should not have not hesitated to help Caroline. But him being upset, or not trusting Stefan. HELLO YOU'RE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MURDER OR COVERING UP OF HIS UNCLES DEATH! I just love how people can find all the excuses in the world for why Damon murders people, but can't understand why the wolves/Tyler would want some kind of revenge. Mason was murdered and then all Tylers "friends," including Caroline got together to lie to him about it. Thats not only a huge betrayal, but it's embarrassing, they made him out to be the fool, regardless of the reasoning. Tyler is not my fav character by any means, but I just feel like when it comes to him (after season one) people just play him out to be an unimportant character, and disregard his issues. So I am very happy that you at least could see where he was coming from. I agree the acting was amazing, especially from Caroline. I love her as well, and that scene was always hard to watch. Now as far as Damon (whom I do love as a character 😬), you brought up something that I've thought about, but never thoroughly. Is what Damon is doing be considered rape? I know it's a heavy question, but when you think about it, he does do this often. Whenever he gets upset we always see him drowning his sorrows in women. And we presume that the women would have agreed to it anyway because he's beautiful, but we never actually see Damon give them a choice. I'm not saying anything definitively but definitely in this episode Andy would have left the tub if she had a choice, but she didn't, because he took away her ability to make one. That's fucking disgusting if I'm just being honest, and as much as I like him as a character, and what he brings and will bring to the show, I can absolutely not get on board with that. Anyway glad you liked the episode. See you next time.

Darius.

I'm late, but, I stopped watching so I could binge the rest, lol. Anyways, this Episode annoyed me, it reminds me of the saying, "Know Thy Enemy" - no one knew each other. The Werewolves thought they were the shit, low-key so did the Vamps, but they weren't prepared for the Warlock. This is why we scout & do recon folks... lol /\ Caroline consistently grew on me, I felt bad for Her, but just think, the longer and harder She struggles, the stronger and smarter She gets. Basically what She told Tyler, "and what happened to me tonight, that will NEVER happen again". The Scenes between Stefan and Caroline, tight. I agree with Stefan doing more for others, not just because of Elena and also about the Series feeling different when Elena is not around much. It almost feels as if there's an actual...................Story........>_> lol JK.....................................not really.
