I like this movie as a whole, because I love most movies based around music, but Frankie’s voice did make me cringe several times too. “I Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” is one of my all time favorite songs though. I love that scene in 10 Things I Hate About You when Heath Ledger sings it. That is an awesome scene. You’ve seen that movie right?

Yes I love that scene from 10 Things! Heath was so good in that RIP.

Thank you so much for your reaction for this amazing movie. I really love this movie as a whole. I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, so I love their music. I love that a musical was created around their phenomenal music and the group's lives. And to top it all off, I love that this movie was directed by Clint Eastwood of all people, whom I really love as both a director and as an actor as well. I admire his work very much. As for the actors who play Frankie Vallie (John Lloyd Young) and Bob Gaudio (Erich Bergen)... in answer to your question about whether any of the stars play their characters onstage, both men did. John Lloyd Young played Frankie Vallie on Broadway, although he wasn't the director's first choice to play him on Broadway. He only came to be Frankie after the actor originally set to play Frankie dropped out just before the show first open, and even then... John had to go through multiple auditions to finally get the role. As for Erich Bergen... he starred as Bobbie Gaudio onstage in Las Vegas, not on Broadway. I actually like Frankie's singing voice a lot. It's unique and different from any other artists known, especially back when they were big in the music world. And I feel that John Lloyd Young's singing voice did Frankie Valli proud. He wasn't perfect by any means, but I still really enjoyed him in this movie very much. I love Tommy and Nick as well, just as I love pretty much all of the big characters such as Gyp DeCarlo played by Christopher Walken, Joseph Russo as Joe Pesci, and Mike Doyle as Bob Crewe. I was shocked upon learning that Joe Pesci ever had anything to do with the music world, that he was lifetime friends with the guys of the Four Seasons, and that he helped them to get their start. As for the death of Frankie's oldest daughter... it's really tragic. I remember wanting to look up more about the true story behind Frankie and his daughter after I first saw this movie in the theaters back when it came out in 2014. While Frankie wasn't by any means a perfect father or husband, I felt so badly for him. He really led a tragic life and yet he somehow survived and came out on top, performing well into his old days. I don't know if he still performs at all today, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did from time to time. One famous song you might not realize is sung by Frankie Valli as well, that wasn't in this movie... is the main song from the musical Grease, titled Grease. Another fantastic song that is the them for another fun musical that I love. And lastly... like you, I was absolutely shocked that Tommy survived and lived to become an old man after all the trouble he fell into. Like you, I really did feel for him too, because chances are that he did grow up in a broken home, which we never saw throughout this movie. But I love, love, love that in spite of his trouble, Frankie still saw him as his brother all the years of their lives. They all remained loyal to one another and they were family in spite of it all, no matter how difficult things got between them. Whether they were together or not. That's pretty amazing. Overall... I really love this movie and all it's music. And I really had so much fun watching it again with you, even though you struggled a little bit with Frankie's voice. So thank you again, so much! I can't wait for more movie reactions, as well as more reactions for Once Upon a Time from you to come!! Until next time...

I enjoyed this movie and it was nice to see actors I’ve never heard of. 😄
