Unfortunately, this isn't a very good episode at all, imo. The tone is all over the place. The body horror of the grown humans and the body swap humour is just jarring. The resolution is also very lazy. With that being said, Billie Piper was great at playing two completely different characters in this episode. Tennant put in a solid performance too, although I think he struggled with having to go back and forth between serious and silly so often. He did overplay it a bit sometimes. This is one of the episodes this series, where he's clearly still settling into the role. Thankfully, the next episode is a big improvement and Tennant will finally get his opportunity to shine for an entire episode. Looking forward to it!

I'm not a huge fan of this episode, but I LOVE the ending. I read it slightly different to you. I think that Chip does die then, and then thousands of years in the future she meets him again but doesn't remember him because it was so many years ago that she met him.
