Well, that was a nostalgic experience. Favorite part: Justin losing his virginity. Complaints: no people of color and no way a gay club the size of Babylon would be located in Pittsburgh. For the record, I think Justin was sexy-adorable (not my “type” but still sexy-adorable) and I like his chemistry with Brian: the combustion of innocence and dissipation. Over-all I think the episode was well written with strong character dynamics. Have you watched Noah’s Ark?

I’ve only seen a few episodes of Noah’s Ark. I appreciated that it was with people of color but I didn’t think it was as well acted as QAF unfortunately. I hope the new QAF is good.

Don't know if you realise but Russell T Davies who was the series producer of Doctor Who Seasons 1-4 (that you are currently watching!) wrote the original British version of Queer As Folk, which the US then adapted for their own version. Ours is much shorter - only two short seasons - but you'll notice that he is very forward thinking in the writing of LGBT characters in Doctor Who too.
