I never heard of this cartoon before but I knew it would consist of double entendres when I saw the title. Carnival Knowledge is a play on the movie Carnal Knowledge from the early ‘70s. When the coffee pot poured out scalding coffee, I said a second before you did, “This is inappropriate for children.” Same with “Play-slug.” Children’s cartoons have always had puns and references only an adult can appreciate, but honestly, this isn’t adult-level humor. It’s made for 13 year-olds not 6 year-olds or 30 year-olds The second cartoon was basically slapstick, a little gross in places, but not too different from the classic (medieval) cartoons which I grew up with. Thanks for sharing your childhood.
