So interested to see what you think of the next few episodes. I have a feeling you’ll get to the point of no return where you might be a fan for life... your insights are fascinating again. A couple of points you made I’d not picked up despite multiple viewings of this story. Adam’s two episode arc is really important I think, to establish who the Doctor and will not take with him on the TARDIS and I feel it was handled pretty well.

By the way, I’ve never taken those early comments about ‘he’s your boyfriend’, ‘not any more’ at face value. I don’t think they’re actually boyfriend and girlfriend: it’s the doctor joking and then Rose plays along with it. That’s how I’ve always read it. Standard British sarcastic humour. ;-)
