Hi! Thanks for becoming my patron. I hope we'll have a long-lasting relationship. :) I've always put love and care into grooming this story into something I could be proud to post.

It took me 10 years to get over the anxiety I felt about showing it to the world. I also wasn't good at comics until I got my first gig and got published. I didn't have much time to work on anything back then and I hated how it stifled my art creativity, so I quit and went on a hiatus while I regained my love for art back.

Thanks to all the spartan training I got through that job I got the fundamentals down and got way better. I learned a lot, and can now put it towards things I love so I am grateful.

I really put a lot of details into the first page. I'm all about hyper details, and I tend to go overboard.

I'm a "draw the bible on a grain of rice" type. I am not so much now, but that's where I'm coming from. lol

I am ecstatic that I'm making this comic at last because I really wanted to: 

1) Depict something maybe people haven't seen yet. I am not reinventing the wheel here. So, it was easier to think about what I wanted to draw without feeling pressure to create something "unique". The story itself is already unique, bringing you the tropes we all know and love and that's ok for me. 

2) The tropes surrounding Bara are fun to read. But, I started wondering about what I always see vs. what I'd LIKE to see. Sexual identity is touchy for anyone, and I at least wanted to tackle things that make people think about that. So I decided to do something about it. Being a trendsetter, I created my own lane to do that. The point of the story is love has different shapes, but in the end it is indiscriminate. At least I aim to achieve that goal.

Anyway, I love my boys and they're an interesting mix. Originally I wanted to just make a story surrounding Sam and Luke only, but Godric is one of my favs and not incorporating him in the story would do a big disservice, and Royce is there for added sauce. lol
