NEWS - Friday 13th (Patreon)

Hello again from me, your friendly community manager, with the latest round of news and updates:

It’s Friday the 13th, residents!

And on such a date, and with Halloween just a couple of weeks away, I’d like to share with you all what’s happening in the town:

The Audio Series

The next 3 episodes of our 12 episode first season are now in full production with each episode confirmed as the following:

Episode 7: Searching

Jess, traumatised by the events of the previous full moon, sets out in search of Emily,
only to be met with a surprising turn of events.

Episode 8: Echos

The night that Emily was cursed as a werewolf is brought to light.

Episode 9: In Deep

New threats emerge in the search for Emily, as a mysterious new character reveals themself.

Once the 1st season completes, after Episode 12, we’ll begin the process of getting
Season 2 into swing, fully writing and producing the entire season, so we can bring you fresh new episodes at much more regular intervals.

Our main goal is to run a new season regularly, not just once a year. This means more supernatural horror coming to you all throughout 2024 and beyond!

The Comic

Issue 1 continues weekly as Emily recounts to Jess the night she truly realised, the monster within her is actually real.

Issue 2 will begin shortly after 1 is completed, which will follow the events of the Audioplay, further bringing them to life.

The Filmed Episode

Work continues developing the project.

We’re now at the point of beginning to break down the crew and budgeting needs that will be involved, including SFX, VFX and creature creation. Yep, we’re aiming to build the full scale version of Emily’s wolf form!

With costs in mind, we’re looking into potentially acquiring funding by way of a crowdfunding campaign, which will be further enhanced by offering supporters exclusive perks and merchandise.

More details on this soon, but I’d love to hear your ideas of what sort of goodies you’d all potentially like to receive as part of the campaign to bring “Tales from Davidstown” fully to life!
