There's an ironic thing about designing railguns for Light Era. I've created this general aesthetic of lightness, minimalism, and slickness to emphasise the virtues I want to imbue Light Era with, a reverence not for brute strength or power but rather harmony. The ironic part, of course, being that the most effective way I can demonstrate this aesthetic is in designs for military artifacts like guns.
