Greetings everyone, as I mentioned in the behind-the-scenes video, I was going back to my home island of Newfoundland last week, which is why Patreon was quiet for the last several days. So there was a lot of good about the trip. I got to visit my best friend and home town that I haven't seen in over 10 years. Also, I was able to spend time with my parents, etc.

Now for the bad...

Due to the weather, my boat heading to the island got cancelled, so I had to stay in a pet-friendly hotel near the docks which cost nearly $300 which I wasn't planning for. So a day later we got on the boat, and the trip went great... well... Up until our return trip home. We made it to the docks again and were parked in line waiting to board the boat. However, during that hour-long wait, I forgot I had the keys in the ignition and it drained my battery. So as they started boarding the boat, I run to get a worker there to help, he called in someone with a booster pack. I pop the hood, and the guy asks which nob is positive and negative (They were not marked red/black in my vehicle). So I tell the man, one moment while I grab the manual to be sure where to attach the cables correctly. The boat guy didn't wait for me to look it up and put them on wrong, it caused a big spark and blew out some electrical components of my vehicle. However, the car did start. So the man went on his way.

So then I hit the gas pedal to start driving and... nothing. I could put the pedal to the floor and it didn't accelerate, however, just by having it in drive, the car would move at 5 kph. So I crawled into the boat sooo slow, I could walk faster.

We sailed across the ocean and land back on the mainland. The next morning, I drive across the town with hazard lights on doing 5kph, and make it to an auto repair shop. They say they are booked up and can't help me. I then try another shop. Nope. They are booked up and can't help. Finally, I tracked down a little shop that said sure. So after arriving there, and many hours later, they found the problem, replaced the blown fuse, reset the vehicle's computer/electronics, replaced the battery, etc. $450 later it's fixed and I'm back on the road.

I finally made it back home, tired and beat. But the main thing is he kids, wife and I made it back safe. Sooooo.....

I'm going to grind hard to pump out as much content as I can for the rest of the month to make it up to you guys for being gone for several days. So stay tuned for some incoming videos as fast as I can edit them. Starting with Twilight tomorrow morning.

Otherwise... How have you all been?
