Have you seen The Green Mile? If not it is absolutely a MUST. Everyone on this planet should see The Green Mile at least once in their life. Most people hail it one of the greatest movies of all time up with Forrest Gump, Shawshank, Titanic etc. Another Tom Hanks film and I swear it will change your life.

By the way I think you can chock Jenny up just the way you said. She didn't think she deserved a man to treat and love her the way Forrest did. You ever hear of the "date your dad" trope? How every girl should aspire to marry and love a man like their father? A father usually shows their daughter how a man should treat and care for her so she doesn't settle for less. Well...some little girls have Father's like Jenny....hence her abusive relationships. Sad...and it happens to so many.
