Exclusive Content For You! Good or Bad Idea? (Patreon)

Greetings my lovely Patrons! So I've been considering trying something new for my MUSIC channel and Patreon. I would like to get your thoughts. I follow several music reaction channels that only do rap music and I've noticed something they do to increase the traffic to their Patreon page. They put exclusive content on Patreon of their reaction videos to offer more benefits for joining our Patreon family. I was considering doing this as well to hopefully increase the number of Patrons. 

I was thinking of picking an artist each weekday and put out a morning reaction of that artist. In that morning video, I would state that another reaction for that artist is now available to my Patreon supporters on my Patreon page. Therefore about 50% of my content will be on YouTube and the other 50% on Patreon only. If time allows, I could also try and pick an album and record the first half of the album reaction in one video for YouTube and the second half of the album is available on Patreon. On the weekends I will reserve the video slots for the VIP requests that they paid for.  

I know I will get pushback from my YouTube subscribers who don't want (or can't afford) to sign up to Patreon. However, the situation as I mentioned to you is that I have several more months to make this YouTube thing work before my Government funding runs out. 95% of my profit from my videos comes from you, the Patreon supporters. To put it in perspective, I have nearly 500 videos on my Music Channel. In the last 30 days of views on those 500 videos, YouTube only paid me $100 in ad revenue because 99% of them are copyright. Whereas, that Pulp Fiction movie reaction I put up a week ago has made almost that much in 7 days. There is no profit to made from the music channel, however, I love to do it and don't want to stop. I have to justify all the hours spent putting out music videos, instead of just making Movie reaction. Let me point out, I started this channel just for fun, not to get rich or make money. However, with Covid and the loss of my career job things have changed. I have to provide for my family, yet I also want to continue to do the type of work I want, and that is YouTube content creator. 

Okay, I rambled enough. I'm am thinking about trying the new exclusive content angle for my Music channel and wanted your thoughts. This won't affect you in any way, other than you will get more exclusive footage. It also means that whatever artist wins the Patreon poll, I will also do a bonus exclusive video of that artist for Patreon supporters.
