Prompt - Katrina Holmes: A Hannibal tattoo artist AU where Will is getting tattoos in progressively intimate areas by Hannibal. This is Wills version of flirting bc he’s useless.

Will's not shy about his body, but sitting in Hannibal's tattoo chair as the artist fiddles with his camera, he feels exposed. The work is beautiful, and he understands why Hannibal would want to document it, but it's a blatant testament on his skin for how truly pathetic his life has become. The lures, the stag, the little Winston, were all his ideas, but after those, he ran dry, and had no excuse to see the artist anymore... So he wandered in one day and offered his shoulder as a blank canvas. The skull, the teacup, the winding flowers of the Primavera... Zeus' swan felt a bit much but Hannibal had been particularly excited about that one. He loved the way Hannibal's eyes lit up when he had a new idea for Will's skin. Almost like he was excited to see HIM, and not his current favorite test subject.

"You won't hang them on the wall, will you?" Will asks, a little muffled by his knee.

"No," Hannibal says quickly, and, how strange, there's a flush on the tip of his ear. "No, these are just for me."
