Prompt - Trev: With Valentine’s Day around the corner, maybe Eros/Cupid getting a lot of ‘work’ done with other gods (or Greek monsters)? (゚∀゚)
Prompt - AbraxanAsh: With Valentine’s around the corner, what about a demon of lust (or THE demon of lust Asmodeus) teaching an angel of love, a Cupid, about the carnal pleasures of the body?
Prompt - JCalamy: Pairing of your choice but big strong older sophisticated daddy type who’s actually the virgin while twinky boy helps him through getting that v card punched.
It's a well kept secret (or so he thinks). Part of his curse, as a creature not-of-God, to inspire such passions in others, but never partake himself. The few who tried, who approached and put their hands on him, became so enraptured that they lost their minds, and were no longer good for much of anything.
He has resigned himself. This is fine. Watching the little worms lose their composure in his presence is another kind of pleasure. His influence turns the attention inward, the body becomes enthralled with itself, the soul and the mind go quiet. He watches them writhe and wonders what it's like.
The sprite from the foreign pantheon sees through him immediately, though Asmodeus does not know this yet. He arrives one day with purpose. He is a god of love, he says, and has heard stories of a demon that uses love to torment. Lust, Asmodeus corrects him. Isn't it all the same? Cupid replies.
Lust is a creature's thing, Asmodeus says. Does love not live in the spirit? Lust is a calamity. It ruins, it rapes, it lays you bare, it lays you low.
Love and lust go hand in hand, Cupid says.
What did you come for? Asmodeus asks.
Cupid smiles. He has heard stories of a monster of carnal depravity. He thought he could learn a thing or two. He's found a pessimistic virgin instead. Perhaps he'll be the teacher this time, if the monster is willing.
I have come to love you, he says, drawing his bow.
