Hm, I've always taken it as Will is saying he wanted it; my assumption was that Will is still trying to get through to Hannibal as his friend and that's why he says a lot of the stuff he does, but Hannibal is so convinced that Will's saying that stuff just to play him so he doesn't listen :(( I could be wrong though!

EVERYTHING HURTS! but is Hannibal maybe smelling Will's pregnancy on his coat or just remembering Will's scent? And is there no dead Abigail in this version? I'm fine with that as I did not actually like her character that much but I'm just curious

I'm not going to really address Abigail in these comics, so I'll let people assume what they like; personally I think she died in the kitchen in ep 1 in this universe, or she got real help and got away from Hannibal and Will and the whole mess and is doing fine somewhere. In the show, killing Abigail was about Hannibal taking away Will's family and destroying that life that he had planned for them; whether or not Will was pregnant and whether or not Hannibal knew that, Hannibal gutting Will can mean the same thing. It's probably a parallel I could have spent more time setting up but that's what I get for trying to cram a season of show into 40 pages hehh

I have to say: as cruel as it is, Will in pain is one of the mosr beautiful things I've seen. No wonder Hanni keeps hurting him. xD

Not exactly. It's still dark, but they're alive and they're together, so I don't see it as bad end :)
