I know a lot of ppl were anticipating a purely biblical take on Hannibal's nature but I always find those very complicated... Like, you assume the devil is real in the biblical sense, then it means god is real, and so you just wanted to deal with hell and demons being on earth but then you have to figure out narratively why heaven/god/angels are ambivalent about this, and THAT's a whole can of worms. So I figured I'd skip all that :) I hope you'll still like this take :))))
