Happy March everyone!!

The top voted tutorial request was comics, followed very closely by drawing! So I put together this basic explanation of how I draw a comic page, and next time I'll focus on some of your drawing suggestions :)

This focuses on the basic process, but there is some stuff missing about how to actually go about laying out a well composed page; the thing is, I was never formally educated in comics, so a lot of what I go on is gut feeling, which isn't great for tutorials, and also means I might not be doing things in an optimal way. However, I know a few basic tips that I keep in mind to help me, and I'll go over those in a future post. For now, this is just more of a peek at how I work.

Let me know if this was useful to you or what you'd like to see in the future! Thanks~

I love this! I think the part I love most is seeing the difference between the background and added effects. That yellow tint you added really does give the room a warmer feel to it. Nice!

This explains soooo much that I've been reading up for YEARS on how to break down and create comic sketches-thank you so much for making this-you truly are a wonderful artist and I just adore your comics so~

I really like seeing your process here in tutorial - from rough sketch to finished work. ^^ The tuto itself is amazing - simply explained and still complex enough to add new knowledge. I am waiting eagerly the in-depth explanation on panel layout.
