Original Comic Tier ~ Character Designs (Patreon)

I haven't updated a whole lot for The Dirt Crown this month! Sorry about that!

I'm trying to spend more time with it in the early stages than the other updates, since it's an original project and I have to take more care to develop the characters and world properly. I've actually been rewriting the outline for this story for a few years, doodling the characters off and on, but this is the first time I've been sitting down and writing a detailed script, and honing the character designs. It's really tough because I have to settle on looks for these characters that have just been in my head for such a long time.

It was really tempting to go with a more straightforward boys love story for my first release here, and I definitely have some stuff like that in progress for the future, but in the end I picked this one because the journey these people go on is a bit personal to me, and if I can only end up getting one story out of this whole Patreon thing I decided I wanted it to be this one.
