Prompt - Z: I don't know if you have seen Old Guard yet, but I would love to see you draw Nicky and Joe from when they met in the crusades. With them both bloody from trying to kill each other again and again, realising that neither of them can die and wondering if it was fate that brought them together. 

There were a lot of good Joe/Nicky prompts but exploring their first meeting really appealed to me ;w; Hey also the crusades were never taught well in my whooooole education and I just never really learned much about them through natural osmosis, that shit fuckin sucked huh. Nicky marching over under the pretense that they're doing God's will and then seeing his fellow soldiers repeatedly raid and murder their fellow catholics along the way, idk why the heck they have him still wearing the cross in the comic tbh
