I matched all the killers early on with different mythological/supernatural creatures, and picked the grootslang for Tobias since I thought it was this cool, primordial African mythological creature. The more I read about it, it seems like maybe it was BASED on a cool mythology maybe, but also seems more and more like it might be a cryptid made up by Dutch colonizers :/// I can't find a lot of information on it since so many games/comics/cartoons used it too and that's a lot of what comes up. So uh, I had to make a little of this up.
