I really love how much he loves dogs, okay, and I work at a dog daycare and all I can ever think about is how dogs should be loved by people who would die for them. I’m really emotional about dogs okay?

My headcanon is that Mischa lived and gave Hannibal a puppy because she was worried he was lonely and also that he'd start eating people for real and not just joking about it a lot (a LOT) and Hannibal is fine with it because Laima LOVES him and hates everyone else and is very quiet and dignified and suits his public persona perfectly.
