I like Jack because I like most of the characters in Hannibal despite their flaws and I think he's right a lot of the time but also he's such a dick

Jack was and always will be a dick, he cares about people and didn't want them to die but he didn't think twice about sacrificing others for his mission, and his mission never ends. It's weird that sometimes he worries more about the dead ones than about the ones that are alive (like Will). He is needed in Hannibal and I understand it but I can't avoid hating him! And I love your grumpy Will!

I like/cant stand jack for the same reason lol. I still love how he's one of the few people to whoop hannibal's ass tho. Still some of the best fight scenes on tv.

god Will's eyes are so enchanting, I breathe for those close-ups. and love how the "good of the many over the good of the one/few" mindset of Jack's is so clear and fraught in this au already. Let justice be done though heaven may fall and all that.

Ahaaaa yes, Jack is such a funny character to me. A lot of times I'm thinking "WOW what a shithead" but then he has these moments where I love him, and he's the only one to seriously get the beat down on Hanni. I love his complex relationship with Bella too. He's just gotta tone it down with the yellin'... and the trusting Will after Hannibal exposure
