I saw this one and instantly thought about FAKE, my favorite slow burn manga hehe~ It's also the story that turned me deAD HARD AGAINST love triangles and also whatever you call that bullshit where there are a lot of romantic competitors, yugh. This manga is full of so much torment.

Just when i think I can't love you more you come out the woodwork with obscure media from my youth. So much torture~ Attempted Murder, Tense Race Relations, MLM in the late 80s/early 90s, cop drama, Love triangles, and so much more gosh youre just so swell! Im bummed they never did another ova of this. It's right up there with Ai no Kusabi for me but AnK won out bc aliens.

First Yaoi manga. Loved the story and the extra storyline showing the two kids from the story growing up. Still have the full series in graphic novel.

Ah yes the manga where I discovered yaoi and why they plastic wrap some manga. High fiveing 12 year old me for reading it in a corner at Borders by hiding it in a batman novel.
