I noticed his face and expressions 'becoming more alive' as we go along and that's great. His design will work itself out as it wants anyway... xD

Wow, this is amazing. I wasn't expecting it, but it throws a wrench in the usual mystery crime tropes and now I have no idea where the story is going to go next! I can't wait to see what you do next! Another note - I really enjoy how you handled the weather in these pages, I can feel the wet cold and the night very palpably, its great!

I admit, I was wondering how you were going to get from Point A (interrogation) to Point C (dirty, dirty sexy times) without some creative meanderings. I totally didn’t expect you to shove Point B into the bushes and just march right up to Point C and shake it’s hand.

I’m absolutely loving these developments. You’re doing a great job at throwing us all for a loop! I kind of figured that Esh was going to be the “hardened cop” kind of archetype. But he’s really developing into someone completely fresh and unexpected. Even Jonah is thrown off. He seems to be used to cops fitting into a hard edged little box. Not the case with Esh! Augh! I can’t wait for the next few pages!
