Hello everyone!

Did you miss me? Well, I’m pretty confident about the answer XD. Hope you’re all doing well! So, anyway, as mentioned previously we’ve been back to work for some days now, but I’ve been unable to get the time to write about it until now.

In terms of Bioasshard progress, well, one of the first things I tend to work on, is to update the engine version used. This step is usually as “easy” as going to where the project file is, right-clicking over it and selecting “change Unreal Engine version” then selecting the new version you wanna use. Then, you just open the project in the new version and just test it to see if there’s any errors from changed stuff and/or deprecated functions. But this is usually a dirty way to upgrade it, because there can be some unwanted leftovers.

Then I thought, since there’s has been a few users that reported random Fatal Errors, I decided to go a step further and make a clean update/migration process, expecting this can solve those errors (in case they could be caused by some of those leftovers).

This process is more manual, since I have to create a new project from scratch, then modify the project settings one option at a time (I could copy the .ini files to migrate every configuration, but I didn’t want to, just to make sure I just ‘copy’ what it is really necessary). Recreate and copy over all the classes I had in C++ (this was easier than I expected). Then migrate all the levels and necessary Blueprints (this takes care of all the linked assets -meshes, textures, materials, sfx, music, etc.) this is the most automated part of the process, but then once is all migrated you have to check everything is working and rebuild some stuff on the levels, like the navigation path, the lighting, streaming LODs… <- This is where I am right now. There, if I find any errors, I have to fix them as well. I think, in about a couple or three more days I’ll have this done, then I’ll try to make a build of the project and pay a test on it to see if it’s working properly.

And this is going to be it.

See ya in the next report!

Much love <3 everyone!

Akira Kurusu

Oh i see, fair enough I suppose! Just assumed something like that would of been implemented by now since there are modders who have added such things like barefoot mods for the official RE titles. Well hopefully that can be added sooner rather then later since it would please alot of peeps that love barefoot! Myself included! And would be very visually appealing too! bwahaha! XD Thanks for the response and eagerly awaiting that update when it finally gets added!! C:

Dark Gemini Saga

this next att promises to be very good as well as the others that were coming out, in fact the totally naked body with nothing is visually more beautiful.
