Hello everyone!


Time for a new dev report.

So, first thing first, thanks to Mr.Versus the General FAQ and the Bioasshard FAQ has been updated. This means, no more “(outdated)” text next to the links. Please make sure you pay a read to them to be updated on any kind of questions you may have (in case you have any other question not present there, don’t hesitate to ask so we can add them there).

Now on to the Bioasshard development: As you may have guessed we’re already working on the next release. After making the big optimization steps and bugfixes that led to the first two releases of this new year (yay, now even AMD users can play it) we’re now focused on adding new mechanics to get closer and closer to the finalization of the Arena.

But it wasn’t just adding new stuff on what we’ve been working on but also fixing a lot more of the bugs that’s been reported so far, including, but not limited to, fixing the reset on hair color that happens when changing level, map items deleting after getting just “part” of them (like getting just some bullets out of the full x25 pack, when the inventory is full), collision problems causing Julia to get stuck in the trees near the Mansion or even the one that makes Julia to lose her inventory when retrying in the Sewers area in the Mission 1.

As for new stuff, along with some other tweaks and small surprises, a new cool and useful gameplay mechanic has been added. I could talk about that making you read lines about that but I think it’s better to just see it in motion:

New Mechanic

Yeah, there’s now a dodge movement. It will be easier now, to avoid enemy attacks including the hardest one: the big guy’s run-and-slap. Keep in mind though, that you won’t be able to dodge every attack specially the ones that are made of from a greater distance. To put it simply, the close the attack “starts” the higher the chances you can dodge it.

And that’s all for now. Since now this is focused on Bioasshard and Punished Mai, and since there’s nothing to talk about Punished Mai yet, this makes the dev reports shorter. Hope you keep liking them though ?

As for the infection system why not try to add when she get full infection instead of struggle free there would be an option for submitting? Just a thought 😉

Seriously, you guys are sitting on a gold mine with this game. An actual good 3rd person shooter with H-content? Can't wait to see what else gets put in the works. I know you folks have a lot of other projects alongside this, but this is the one for sure.

Hahaha thanks! We're glad you like it. Even though the mine seems to be almost dry XDD. Jokes aside, we can still make it a lot better, it all depends on the project's scope ^^

Thank you. Other creatures will surely be added for the game, but for the remaining systems to implement in the Arena, there's probably no need for them. ^^
