Here is a new dev report, let’s start with energy this week!
Ouch!!!
Punished Mai Walkthrough 1.1
Thanks to Hyp3’s reports I’ve updated the walkthrough to V 1.1 fixing a lot of grammar errors. I expect more reports in the future and obviously more updates for the walkthrough, If you find any problem (typos, mistranslations, wrong info, missing some stuff, etc.) please report it on the comments here or in the corresponding channel on our Discord.
2D Art of the Week
This is a very early WIP of some old requests I’m working on, hopefully I’ll be able to finish them before the end of this year ^^U
Shit! There are 3 DRAWINGS in total… I won’t be able to do this in a year, damn!!!
Speaking of which… I’m thinking about making a small CG set with all the drawings I did for Oppai Dattebayo. It will be easy, I just need to put some order on them and upload it somewhere… yeah definitively I’ll do it, maybe for next month.
Bioasshard Dev Report
New Area
I’ve done very good progress on this during the past week. I’ve finished all the shape for the interior. It wasn’t easy because as I said on other post the assets don’t match really well with the blocking, I did some time ago. So, I have redone almost all the rooms on the ‘mansion’.
I’ve also been working on the mansion’s facade. It was easier than what I thought. I also fixed the height of some walls and put some kind of roof to the mansion.
Now I need to add assets and furniture inside this place and maybe change some materials on the facade.
Keep in mind with these screenshots though, that the lighting is not set up yet (you can tell by that “preview” text in some floors and walls).

Continuing with this boring stuff… more assets painted during this past week.

Hey everyone!
Today I wanted to bring you some information on the latest tasks I’ve been doing. Basically, what you just saw in the latest screenshot Saturday.
So yeah, I’ve been spending a lot of time on making this new system for the Infected, along with his new model and textures, he also got clothes!
I programmed a system where I can easily configure the look of every new Infected, I add to the level. This system needed a lot of rematerializing and parametrizing, adding material instances dynamically, changing the parameters in them to fit my needs and making a lot of enumerators to make it easier to read when customizing new Infected.
I had to go back and forth between UE4 and the DCC a few times to solve some issues, like adding the eye meshes to the Infected… yeah, I forgot about them when I first showed him to you guys. Also did a lot of work on adding him blendshapes, basically for facial expressions.
Then focused on optimizing him the best I can, adding a few LODs and lower resolution textures.
And to end the “visual aspects” of this, I’ve been doing some APEX cloth tests to see if it’s worth the implementation or not.
A lot of work on the AI and the animations for the Infected is where I’ve spent the rest of the time. And it still needs a lot more into it.
