Just once a year, Krampus Hill opens. Krampus is an incredibly ancient monster that comes out of its kingdom only for one night. But he doesn't do such stupid things as tracking who was nice and who was naughty, oh no!

With a large bag, this creepy hulk goes around the earth, carefully selecting the children he will take with him. He leaves changelings in their place, who will turn into piles of smoldering embers in the morning.

He will raise up these children as his own and with time their appearance will be monstrously distorted - their skin will become black as coal, horns and hooves will grow like their "dad"'s, they will love bells with which they will decorate themselves and they will develop an unrestrained passion for child meat. They will accompany their foster father on his rounds and, probably, the fate of the children who have fallen into their clutches is much more enviable than the fate of these changelings, known as Zvončari or Bell Ringers.

Всего раз в году открывается Холм Крампуса - невероятно древнего чудовища, который выходит из своего царства только на одну ночь. Но он не занимается такими глупостями как отслеживание, кто был послушненьким, а кто - проказливым, о нет!
С большим мешком эта жуткая громадина обходит землю, тщательно отбирая детей, которых он заберёт с собой. Он оставляет вместо них подменышей, которые наутро превратятся в кучки тлеющих головешек.
Эти детей он воспитает как своих и их вид чудовищно исказится - кожа их станет чёрной, как уголь, отрастут рога и копыта, как у их "папы", они полюбят колокольчики, которыми будут себя украшать и появится безудержная страсть к младенческому мясцу. Они будут сопровождать своего приёмного отца в его обходах и, наверное, участь попавших к ним в лапы детей гораздо завиднее участи этих переменышей, известных как Звончары.
