So over the past week or two, I've been doodling around in 3D trying to experiment with 3D and Unity to see what I can expect to work / not work if I go the 3D route with the sequel to Rack.

I haven't worked with 3D since college, which was like 7 or 8 years ago, so it's been a bit of a steep re-learning curve, but I've been sorta happy with how things are going. These shots are from a few quick pose tests I used on stream today to debug/test skeleton weights.

I'm feeling fairly comfortable with everything up to the hips/waist. I haven't touched anything above the waist yet; everything you see here is just automatic envelopes. You might also notice a distinct lack of features like hair, fluff tufts, claws, whiskers, etc. Those are all things I'm still experimenting with. :D

Anyway, mostly just wanted to post a quick progress blurb for those of you who haven't been able to catch any of the recent streams!

And don't y'all worry: Bedplay and Midnight Fireworks are still being worked on! The next Bedplay update will include support for female characters, starting with Kabier's raptor, Genesis. Midnight Fireworks 1.3 will include support for swappable bottoms (including 3 new male bottoms), and 1.4 will include support for female bottoms.

Looks excellent! And sexy ;) My only thought would be to be sure it looks stylized rather than trying to be too realistic... Even with furries stuff can end up in the uncanny valley really quick

Oh wow, that looks much better than I was imagining. I hope it works out as well as you hope!

Only thing I can suggest is more sheath play and or sheath visibility as you begin your experimentation:) I like sheath
