the teacher AU is so weird cause its canon that Steve is really really dumb. It's odd for him to become a teacher of all things

Shame for you if you think he’s canonically dumb, he’s not dumber than any other 18 year old. The same goes for why he and Billy are together of all things it’s something that you’re not arguing with but this is not canon. There’s no any chance that they will be together in canon. And all of that won’t stop me from making more arts with them and teacher AU because I like it and don’t care if someone thinks it’s weird because of some ‘dumb’ reasons. It’s not weirder than any other AU you see

I agree. AU stands for alternate universe, doesn't it? So even if Steve were to be "dumb" in canon, why couldn't we be able to write/draw him as a teacher/ professor? It wouldn't change who he inherently is on the inside. I'm more interested in his character than in the job description. He could he the cashier in a tiny shop or a haward alumni that I would care more about him staying who he is as a person.
