What's Next: The Lions of Dawrtaine (Patreon)

The first chapter of my new book will publish here on Patreon on Saturday, February 27, and will continue on a weekly schedule afterward. With this timing, everyone who is currently a patron should be able to read the first chapter for free.

Here's a synopsis of the new work:

Hallon Nilsdotter was born in 1268 and trained in the magics of the shamans and seers of old Sweden. Now, in 1924, she hunts for the Calamity, a prophesied disaster. Along with her spirit allies and the young scientist Milo Rabbit, Hallon forces open a tear in the boundary of their universe to travel to another.

An old war has ruined the land, breaking its weather systems, and a new war is brewing between the Untainted and the Gloop, those who show strange mutations. Hallon and Milo are quickly on the run after being identified as abnormal. As a civil war begins, they must find a way to navigate this new world of poison gas attacks and fallen spirits. All the while, the Calamity looms over them.

The genre is Science Fantasy, but please note that, while one of the characters can see numbers (math synesthesia), it is not LitRPG.

Once Patreon is approximately ten chapters ahead, I'll create a page on Royal Road and begin weekly releases there.
