So fun lore-telling time~ The majority of intelligent life in this world are mammals. Creatures like fish, birds, and reptiles are all still feral and are used as livestock, pets, and mounts for rides. However at this point in time, the rare bird or lizard with mammalian intelligence will be born. They do need to be extra careful though, especially in presenting themselves in a way that conveys sentience.
This bird made the mistake of falling for Muffin's seed lure as a feral would, and uh... doesn't know how to let certain animosities toward larger preds go, even with how nice Muffin is! Huff... the bird deserves it
