Excellent video! My previous knowledge about this topic comes from this one by "Filmmaker IQ": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjYjFEp9Yx0 The whole channel is worth a look. Discussion about TV and NTSC starts at around 08:00

Hey Matt! Fantastic video! Not a question, just a fun little tid bit about the PAL/NTSC dichotomy. I live in the United States and I'm a huge fan of IT Crowd. Years ago I wanted to buy the special box set of it - but they only (at that time) released the box set in the UK in PAL format. I only wanted the box set to leave in the packaging and set out "The Internet" on a shelf for a discussion piece. When I tried to buy it on Amazon - Amazon simply refused to sell it to me. I won it on EBay auction and when my information went to the seller, he also refused to send it to me - after days of begging the guy, I effectively released him and he finally mailed it to me... What a mess this NTSC/PAL split has caused! Anyway - great show, I wish I could give more!
