My girlfriend confirmed to me that the baby is not in fact the Aegon that is brother to Aemon in GOT. We are definitely not THAT close to the GOT timeline which is what I assumed in the video but I questioned it at least.

They actually say in the dialogue this episode that the reason the war was taking so long was because the Crabfeeder and his men would hide in the caves so the dragons couldn’t get to them. Those men at the end wasn’t Viserys support they were the Sea Snake’s men. The guy on the dragon was Laenor the son of the sea snake and the one Lord Strong suggested Rhaenyra marry.

Yeah, I realized that must've been why Daemon didn't bring his dragon since he knew they'd just be hiding in the caves. And that makes a lot more sense that it wasn't Viserys' support because I'm sure their support would take a lot longer to get there than that but I wasn't thinking clearly LOL
