So, I was in contact with Vimeo support recently, and they informed me that I "should" be exempt from their 2TB bandwidth per month limit because more than 50% of my views come from people watching it on the Patreon site itself.

This is obviously good news, but then I asked around and many other creators had a similar situation where most of their viewers were watching through Patreon as well but they still were told to pay more or else their account gets removed (which is what I was originally told).

I'm still going to be cautious about it but we will keep things how they are going for now and just wait to see what happens.

Good, and lets take care of this situation like adults. Just be careful and sleep with a gun under your pillow if Vimeos hitmen are trying sneak in. Also if shit goes gansta we can always put sugar to managments gas tanks. If they drive Tesla we can spraypaint Movie Fusion logo to the wind shields. Also cherry bombs to companys toilets would be a bang. "Revenge pro"

That’s good news, Dan. Are you able to see your metrics on views from Vimeo or through Patreon? That kind of transparency would be more useful to you in planning ahead or at least knowing where you stand on any given month?

A Dropbox link for videos under two hours has seemed to work for other Patreons if needed down the road.
