I think the Nymeria thing mirrored Arya's journey. Ayra never wanted to be a lady because that wasn't her. And Nymeria was always meant to be wild and free

That’s not you is in reference to Aryas conversation with Ned in season 1: when he was talking about her growing up to be a lady, raising little lords and ladies and she said “That’s not me”. Nymeria isn’t a pet anymore, she has her own pack and lives free in the north.

Great reaction. Bro. Such a good episode. Glad you understand the fast pace. A lot to cram in not many episodes. The Euron attack surprised me too the first time. Definitely caught them off guard too. I definitely think Tyrion expected them to hold up in Kings Landing and wait. Yet again Jon is doing what needs to be done and yet again everyone is against it just like at the Nights Watch. Great things to come. I'm also watching Mr. LBoyd's reaction to this on Patreon. He does 2 b2b episodes a week on Tuesdays. This week will be the season 7 finale and the season 8 premier. I'm interested to see if you will catch him before he finishes. Also, the new mic sounds amazing to me. Very clean.

The Nymeria scene is one of the more frustrating moments of this show for me. Ugh. It was well done with just the right emotional impact…until THAT line…literally every reactor I watch is thrown off and/or confused by it…takes you straight out of the moment. I get what they were trying to reference, but it was such poor execution it ruins the scene for me. The writers tried getting too cute with a callback this time, IMO.

When speaking to Daenerys, Olenna called the Lannisters sheep. I don't think she really believes that. Would sheep kill all those innocent people in the Sept? Jaime would have slaughtered the sparrows if Tommen and Margaery hadn't ruined the plan. Olenna is just angry and wants revenge for the murder of her son and grandchildren. But as I said before, Olenna sort of had it coming; she did kill Cersei's child, Joffrey. Referring to them as sheep is a callback to S1 ep7 when Tywin said to Jaime, 'A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of a sheep'.

Qyburn: We are currently at work on a solution, my Lord. How could you underestimate Qyburn after he turned the mountain into a zombie, turned Varys' little birds into Children of the Corn, and helped Cersei with the wildfire. I can't believe you laughed at the name Dickon. So immature. LOL.

'That's not you', references to when Ned told Arya in season 1 she was going to be a lady and she replied 'that's not me.' Arya isn't a lady, Nymeria isn't a pet.

When Cersei was talking to her people about Dany it seemed like she was exaggerating/lying but she did indeed crucify noblemen in S4, and fed them to her dragons in S5.

Glad to see a new episode up appreciate the work. The season is more fast paced and we seemingly jump hours days and maybe weeks in some cases quickly and don't always initially realise which it's why can feel like people are teleporting I was wondering to maybe not immediately could add at the end of season before or after ranking the characters doing a sort of wish/prediction list for what you hope or maybe expect to see in the final season id for sure be interested to see your ideas you might have for the final season :)

Maise’s delivery with that little smile wouldn’t make sense if “that’s not you” meant that’s just not Nymeria. Plus, who else would it be? It’s not like regular wolves can grow that big.

I am once again asking how the hell Alfie Allen was never awarded for his performance as Theon. He says so much without even speaking a word.

Arthur Fields

Maybe because there are way too many talented actors on GOT season after season. I heard award shows decided to be fair and make sure not to shower one particular show with awards and ignore other amazing shows. According to IMDB, Allen was nominated multiple times for GOT. And, for one film, he was nominated for WORST British actor.

I was mainly talking about the Emmys (sorry should’ve clarified that), I think he was nominated once after he submitted himself. I just thought it was a shame because I always considered him and Peter Dinklage (who won like 4 times) to be the best male actors on the show so it would’ve been cool if he’d also been recognised.
