Barristan is still alive in the books. And his actor was actually quite upset they killed him off. He actually wrote a letter to the producers of the show explaining why they shouldn’t kill Barristan off but they ignored it.

In the books Roose Bolton did have another son before Ramsay, Domeric Bolton. After Domeric found out about Ramsay's existence, he decided to go and meet him. Domeric died soon after of some mysterious bowel illness. Roose is certain that Ramsay poisoned Domeric but didn't do anything about it because Ramsay was now his last living heir.

Cersei told Littlefinger to come back to Kings Landing. I don't know if he's aware that his brothel got raided and some of his employees and customers got killed by the Sparrows. He may want to change his travel plans.

You can really see that Daenerys needs to be surrounded by wise councels to help her make great decisions. We saw on that episode that she was missing Barristan and Jorah. She has a kind heart, but can sometimes get mad to the point of doing stuff that isnt herself

imo valyria in the show was a bit of a let down as a book nerd. if you care to, look up some art of old valyria. it’s truly beautiful!
