I get why Daenerys wanted to execute him (to send a message that murdering a prisoner isn’t allowed) but it was just such a terrible decision. When she was taking Meereen she had already taught the slaves that they have to take their freedom with blood, not to mention the fact that she herself executed almost 200 masters without trial. Doing this just further inflamed the tensions between the former slaves and the masters.

I actually don't think Daenerys did anything wrong here. Yes, it sucks having to kill one of your own "team" but she did nothing Robb or Ned wouldn't have done. Mossador (the slave) murdered a man awaiting trial, and the punishment in Meereen is death. Since he confessed it already, there was no need for a trial. Hence Dany's "the law is the law." The Son of the Harpy wasn't proven to have murdered anyone yet, hence the trial. If she wants to make this a better place, she had to make this statement that both former slaves and former masters are seen as equal, and not favor a member of her own "team," or a city-rebellion would start tomorrow. Its a slippery slope to be sure, but not wildly different from anything we have seen for disobeying the law, in either Westeros or Essos.

I remember my anticipation waiting to see what will happen when Tyrion and Daenerys meet; wondering if she's going to kill him since he's a Lannister. I also couldn't wait to see what's going to happen when Arya hooks up with Jaqen. I appreciated the information Gilly gave us about greyscale and the way it affects those who have it.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned yet that Snow are bastards in the north. Like Jon and Ramsay but as seen can be made legitimate. Those born in Dorne are Sand. Those in kinglanding are Waters. So Gendry is Gendry Waters.

The reason they didn't have a trial for that dude is bc they 100% knew what he did. They were having a trial for the other guy bc they didn't have all the facts and were unsure what all he was guilty of. Nonetheless doing that in public at this stage wasn't smart. I get the logic but she should have known that all it would do is create more issues. Solid episode though. I got behind cause I'm moving from Colorado to Ohio and it's a pain lol.
