Just joined to watch your reaction to this ^^ I really like this movie, it's very interesting and very psychological. If you take Moon Knight into consideration, you might understand the movie even better. It's all about the DID, and the fact that Timmy is the evil personality kinda makes sense, cos the doctor explains that these personalities were created when Malcolm was a child himself, it sort of makes sense, that the one that's still a child would be the one with the most trauma and the one to act on it. Rewatching it is for sure a good idea, and you won't be able to look at Timmy the same way - just the beginning where he "playfully" puts his hand on the window and his mother does the same, andd then he backs up, inviting her to mirror him, and then she's run over. Same sorta thing with the stepdad, and also Timmy went in to see his mother just before she died. If you enjoyed this I think you would also really like the movie Awake from 2007 starring Hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba, very underrated movie.
