Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis had started dating just before this was filmed. Jeff is the one who told the director to audition her. They were married for a few years after this came out. Also, the Director Dave Cronenberg can be seen as the doctor in the abortion scene. I love love love this reaction! My dad told me that he actually went to go see those in the movie theater back and 86 and he said that the people in the movie theater were losing their minds!
