You should definitely do The Conjuring 2, but I wouldn't recommend any of the others in the conjuring universe, they're all pretty much crap IMHO.

Great flick! Part 2 is my fav and I like what they did with the 3rd movie. It was alittle different from the first 2.

I know you probably found out maybe afterwards but Ed and Lorraine Warren are real people, they were real paranormal investigators. Ed did assist on some exorcisms sanctioned by the Vatican and Lorraine is a gifted psychic, she often sees and feels things not seen by most which is why she's not scared of seeing ghosts or spirits as she sees them all the time, she can just tune them out. I'm not saying either way what to believe, but just that they were real people doing that real job. I believe they charged their clients or the church would pay for their expenses as usually it was the Church who found cases and sanctioned investigations. They also did it out of a sense of calling and purpose. Chapter 2 is my favorite but they did take more creative liberties with the story but it's still a James Wan film so it's got great scares and tension.

I hope you watch The Conjuring 2 and the newest one The Conjuring 3 The Devil Made Me Do It. Those are the only ones I would suggest. I love the movies that focus on Ed and Lorraine as the main characters helping a family.
