I am super new to vr so most of the concepts are very new to me. with some research ive been able to add baseline support for now, but there are some issues I think might occur due to the different types of VR HMDs having different providers with different settings. For this first beta build, ill be gathering info, and adding support for as many HMDS as possible.

Added features to this build -

- moved and changed the expression system again. Due to there now being 2 menus, expressions were slightly bugged/ ran twice. This has now been fixed. Due to this fix though, the option to turn on/off dirty talk etc is not part of this build. They will be added back in the next build.

- VR HMD support.

- VR HMD tracking to change pose. (I dont have motion controllers, so for now the tracker is on the HMD)

- Made it so the vr menu changes location depending on the active camera/pov.

- 3d menu can be hidden.

- added hovering colours for the buttons, to visually show wether a button is being hovered over or not.

- made it so the HMD moves to the active camera. Free cam, povs and cinematic camera all work with VR.

- added limitations for movement on the HMD, and made it work with the current limitations of the non vr cameras.

- added a button to turn on / off vr in the main menu, and made sure that all keybinds etc that goes in and out of the menu recognizes wether vr is on or off.

- I have changed to a forward renderer that should be more optimized for 3d. Some textures have been updated to work with this new renderer

- ive added a new type of reflection mode to work with the new renderer.

- the skybox has been slightly updated.

Rant about the main VR additions -

1. VR HMD support. (Click on the 'Turn on VR button'' to turn on VR mode. Then hit resume to play with VR.)

The pause menu does not support VR, so to change settings when paused, you have to take off your goggles. VR turns on once you hit 'resume' to play the game.

2. I have added a second menu for VR.(The regular 2d menus that follow the screen are not supported for VR) right now due to me missing vr motion controllers, I have made it so that all the ''regular non VR keybinds work with the vr menu too.'' Z to hide etc(keybinds are listed in the options/keybinds section)

For the buttons on the VR menu, I have added keybinds for generic VR controller buttons. If you find that there is no support for your vr controllers(or HMD) then please message me, or respond to this post with what isnt working, and what HMD / controllers you use.

If your controller isnt supported, then when looking at the button with your HMD, you can hit enter or space on your keyboard to click on the buttons for now.

Issues I am hoping to get user input on - (message me with info, or comment below!)

- Is the HMD positioned properly to the various camera modes? for reference on where the HMD should be positioned, look at the non VR mode. The VR HMD should be placed perfectly in the same position and rotation as the non VR cameras.

if it isnt, then please tell message me with the name of your vr HMD (a screenshot of the HMD camera povs that are not properly placed would be a lot of help too. )

- Is the motion controller main button able to click on buttons? if not, please send me your VR HMD name, and controller type.

Just ran through the game in VR through 2-3 launches. I'll be referring to non-VR mode as 'Desktop' for simplicity. HMD: Oculus Rift S with Oculus Touch controllers Played seated. Here's a Google Docs post for my feedback/issues, because this comment box is hard to work with: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QppCocHxG_X4G0_D2mzaBqEHBGftOk4dyXWHycDIsCs/edit?usp=sharing You can add comments on the doc as well if you wish to respond to specific items. Contains screenshots as well. Mostly just camera stuff. It otherwise runs pretty well and was fun to play around. :)

Huge thanks for the input! I have read through it, and looked at some of my options in unreal, and I should be able to roll out some fixes later today :) Especially for the positioning of the HMD
