AHEM. Now that work is over I had time to sit with these panels. And HOW ARE THEY SO BEAUTIFUL BUT SO UNNERVING AT THE SAME TIME. I'm with Ryder in regards to the spiders - that's a hard NOPE. But even so, he stayed to figure it out. I endorse the bonking move though, underrated, gotta catch the enemy by surprise. Also, MORE POWERS?! Like I had a feeling, but their not needing weapons at all - it just being a preference, how does that work?? Amy had a full on demon form, but she still looked like Amy from what we've seen? Was she hiding claws? Shape shifting?? And I wonder what throws the switch for Ryder - what specifically triggers the memories. Is it danger? Demons? But I love how you highlighted that switch with the changing of his eyes - God I just love that so much how they subtly change in appearance with the gradual/sudden loss of emotional control Also. Spider daddy in COLOR is so much fucking worse. No me gusta - nooooo me gusta. Slinky bastard who plays with his food before he eats it

And Ryder coming back with "a beautiful night isn't it" with that sheepish glance behind. Marrying the two halves - who he was with who he is now. Can't wait to see him integrate them more

A lot of it is the suppression marks doing their job :3 we’re going to see one of Amy’s other powers/abilities that’s going to set her a part from the rest of the exorcists in the next upcoming episodes. When Ryder gets his visions, he gets calmed because he knows what’ll happen, once he knows how to trigger the visions on their own, we’ll see him freak out less lol
