So you may remember my previous Pico-8 voxel-rendering iterations! I even wrote about them recently! I decided to take on a challenge and make an fps version!
This version is much more optimized than the previous ones, besides also being way cooler. As you can see on the gif, I only made it loop a voxel "tile". I think there could be a way to have a few different tiles and display them on the same screen but I didn't get around doing it. It's ok, because I might just work on this some more!
I'd like to make a small game out of this! I have absolutely no idea how much I could put in there realistically but I do think it's possible to do something. Further optimization may be in order though. If this happens, the game will be on the Pico-8 BBS!
