Half-rest, half-work.

This was my first week in my new apartment, and so I didn't exactly work all week, but rather went and visited my new town and rested a bit. Still, I didn't exactly do nothing either!

We released Jardins Du Standoff!!

Jardins Du Standoff is a permanent competitive shooter where you have to hold the crown for as much time as you can! It's set in very classy french gardens, where the white suit and top hat are mandatory! You can play with up to 15 other persons on the Castle platform!

Eliott and I made this game using Wasteland Standoff as a base, another game we made a few weeks ago. We completed Jardins in about a week and a half, and we released it on Thursday!

We got to play it with about 10 players, and it was really fun! Which means we did our job well! :D

The game is fast but not too fast, especially thanks to the fact that you can take a few shots before dying, the different weapons really add something, and the environment being destructible makes it all really fun and interesting.

We really are super happy with the reception, and we'll definitely try and organize other sessions of Jardins soon!

I've also made myself new business cards! I've been meaning to do this for a few months, since my old cards are way out of date. With both A MAZE and Nordic GameJam coming up this month, now felt like a good time to do this!

What you're seeing up there is the animated version of what will be in the back of the cards!

If you're a Patreon, you can also get it (and a variation) as a wallpaper, over there!

If you want one (or more) of those cards, and you're going to be at either A MAZE or the Nordic GameJam or both, just come say hi to me!

And that's all for last week! I know, that was pretty short, but it was supposed to be a rest week originally!

As usual, thank you so much to all my Patreon supporters! Here are the names of the 3$+ supporters:

★Joseph White, ★Spaceling, rotatetranslate, Anne Le Clech, bbsamurai, HJS, slono, Austin East, Jefff, Meru, HERVAN, Andreas Bretteville, Bitzawolf, Paul Nguyen, Dan Lewis, Dan Rees-Jones, Reza Esmaili, Thomas Wright, Joel Jorgensen, Marty Kovach, Cole Smith, Tim and Alexandra Swast, berkfrei, Jearl, Flo Devaux, Johnathan Roatch, Raphael Gaschignard, Eiyeron, Sam Loeschen, Andrew Reitano, amy, Jakub Wasilewski, Gruber, yunowadidis-musik, Max Cahill, hushcoil, Jacel the Thing, Pierre B., Sean S. LeBlanc, Andrew Reist, vaporstack

This week I should be releasing (publicly) BotJuice! The game is complete and only needs a few more tweaks... I'm also going to work on a Lua library that mimics parts of the SUGAR API, basically cleaning up the libraries I had made for BlastFlock last year and used for all my Castle games so far!

And if there's time I'll also try to make a tiny Castle game! We'll see!

Have a great week!

Take care!

What a gorgeous pattern for a business card (and so YOU! 😉👌) I can't wait for you to pass me one IRL some day... 😊
